Before I say anything else, there may be spoilers in this post so beware 😄
Overall it was an ok movie, and I do like Sam as a the new Captain America, but it felt like the plot was lacking something. Maybe I’m comparing it to the previous movies in MCU Phase 1, but then again I don’t think we needed three movies for Captain America (don’t come for me please)…
This movie felt like a preview for other films to come, but not in a great way like when everyone started disappearing in Avengers Infinity War 😢. Overall, the villain was a bit weak to me, and the monster fight visuals were just ok to me.
I will say that I’m curious to see where they go next with Sam’s story, so there’s hope.
